Episode 40: Event Organizing Tips, Painting Sons of Horus, and Betrayer Part III

After the horrors of Armatura the Word Bearers and World Eaters travel to Angron's homeworld, where they are ambushed by the Avenging Son and his XIIIth Legion. In the third part of our coverage of the novel Betrayer by Aaron Dembski-Bowden, we analyze the Battle of Nuceria, both in orbit and on the surface. We also get some event organizing tips from Freddie the Swede, and welcome Grieux to the show to talk about painting the Sons of Horus. Nobody runs from the Conquerer!

  2. Thanks guys, glad to help out on the Lorgar/Angron question. Maybe you can help me out on a question of mine? Does Fulgrim ever get out ot the picture and get his body back from the demon that took him over? I did read that story in "The Primarchs" anthology, but I'm still confused--and if Fulgrim is back and merged with the demon, when did this happen? I have the feeling I missed a book, story, or radio drama.

  3. I think the answer is in Angel Exterminatus, but the thing is it's not 100% clear what happens. Have you read that one?

  4. No, but I'll read it next, thanks. BTW you're right about Betrayer being one of the best; take as many episodes as you need to plumb its depths!
