Hey, just came over to say hello and thank you for doing this, I've been listening to your Adeptus Titanicus bits and you've saved many a boring long drive to/from work for me.
ReplyDeleteAnyhow, I just listened to (most of) this one and I had to chime in on Legio Praesagius, and the Pinpoint Accuracy trait.
You guys were wondering about the note 'They may not
re-roll the Location dice if the attack was made with a Blast
weapon that subsequently missed' and concluded it doesn't work with Blast weapons. It's actually BETTER than that.
More specific, you CAN use it to reroll the target location die on a Blast weapon at long range, IF you actually passed the actual to-hit roll. You can pseudo-call your shots with things like Volcano Cannons, Quake Cannons etc as long as you're in your long range bracket. It just doesn't work if you shoot, roll a miss, and your blast template still clips that (or any other) target. Hell, even a plasma warhound is going to be pretty terrifying as long as you can actually hit your target.
